Who We Are
Our films focus on the human side of sports. The devoted fans, the unlikely athletes, and the small communities built around the games people love. From a sports bar to public tennis courts to LA’s only Australian rules football team - we tell the stories most productions overlook.
The mission is to redefine what a sports documentary looks and feels like. A reflection of life, humanity, and belonging through the lens of sports.

Sports play a pivotal role in defining culture, community, and personal identity. They can distinguish one place from the next, and one person from another.
We started 8 Track Media because we believe the most interesting sports stories aren't being told. We're flooded with coverage of championships, contracts, and highlight reels — but rarely do we see what sports actually mean to the people who live them.
That's the space this company lives in. We make documentaries about the human side of sports — the part rarely covered by the networks, the leagues, or the algorithms. The part where culture, community, and identity actually live.
